Thursday, November 7, 2014 at around 5 am in the morning when the typhoon Yolanda traverse the part of Visayas region where the Tacloban City was the most affected area. Leyte as one of the focused area of the Salubong Movement with its other partnership programs gives the different barangays their basic necessities and other help from the volunteers.
They did different project that supports 6 costals from Leyte including its 33 barangays. This includes San Fernando, Cogon, San Joaquin, Baras, Salvacion and Candahug.
The volunteers continues to give their support by transporting goods and other basic necessities for Palo, Leyte survivors.
This blog also supports one of the projects of Salubong Movement which gives new boots and raincoats from every children from different schools and barangays. You too, can help the children by giving donations and continue reading and sharing this blog. :)
